Christy Beymer
Christy is a fourth-year transfer student at Cal Poly. She is currently majoring in Communication Studies and holds an AA in Liberal Studies from Saddleback Community College. As an active member of Greek Life on Cal Poly's campus, she values the important stress of a safe college campus. With Greek Life and Cal Poly Programs working together, there has been a stronger awareness on the issues of "Victim Blaming" and "Rape Culture." Having personally known victims of rape, she finds it necessary to establish a place where victims can feel safe to express what has happened to them. The creation of this site has allowed her to discover more on-campus support systems and stand up for those who have been effected by the rape culture of today.

Sara Reichel
Sara is a third-year Communication Studies major at Cal Poly. Her minor in Ethnic Studies has given her an opportunity to understand and empathize with various social groups and minorities. Sara's studies have focused heavily on the (past and present) women's movement, as she is a whole-hearted feminist herself. She believes in advocating for the rights of those who have been misunderstood and misrepresented in society - especially those pegged as "victims". This site has given her the opportunity to oppose the idea of "victim-blaming" which has infiltrated the landscape of modern-day college rape culture.
