What is Safer?
Safer had been established through Cal Poly and is the universities “primary resource for addressing sexual violence, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking. Through education, advocacy and crisis counseling they are able to provide support.
“Safer operates under the empowerment model, which seeks to return a sense of personal self- worth, to listen to the victim/survivor and to allow them to make their own choices, and to support the victim/survivor's process as they move forward and take control their own life.”
